Spend a beautiful and relaxing day on the Netherwood Estate with expert pressed flower artist Sarah Holland, learning the skills of traditional flower pressing.
Sarah (of @meadowandthyme fame) will guide you through her flower pressing techniques, providing tips and tricks on how to work with different flowers and achieve stunning pressings. You’ll then spend time gathering flowers from the Netherwood Manor gardens before putting your learning into practice, pressing them in a traditional press that is yours to keep.
After a delicious two course lunch from the kitchen garden, Sarah will demonstrate how she creates her pressed flower artwork, before providing you with a selection of pre-pressed flowers from which you can mindfully create your own floral masterpiece. Your artwork will then be framed and is yours to take away.
This wonderful, relaxing course is taught in a small group in the most stunning setting and includes all materials, refreshments and lunch.
